Rates

We charge £1.10 per minute of digital audio, however if a file is of particularly poor quality the rate will be slightly higher.  A 15 minute audio file will normally take an hour to transcribe.  A small extra charge is made for capturing video files as this can take extra time.

Terms and conditions

  • The Client is an individual or company who utilises the services of the Service Provider. Typing Angels shall be known as the Service Provider.
  • An invoice will be submitted to the Client upon completion of each assignment. Payment is due strictly 14 days from the date of invoice unless otherwise stated.
  • The Service Provider reserves the right to make an additional charge of 8% above base rate on the outstanding balance from the date of the invoice until full payment has been received. A compensation payment will be charged arising from late payment, under the late payment Commercial Debt Regulations 2002.
  • The Service Provider reserves the right to make an additional charge for poor quality audio recordings, depending on the extra time taken.
  • We reserve the right to change turnaround times and the rate quoted due to changes in the specifications, quality, unforeseen circumstances, illness and any other problems not within our control.
  • The Client will accept full responsibility for final proofreading and accuracy of documents. Any errors or omissions brought to our attention within 48 hours of receipt will be amended free of charge.
  • Any other additions or amendments made by the Client will be charged. The Service Provider will not be held responsible if the Client does not provide full instructions.
  • All incoming emails or other media will be scanned for viruses. The Service Provider will not open emails or unsolicited attachments which are not self-explanatory. The Client is responsible for scanning emails and attachments received from the Service Provider.
  • Confidentiality agreements can be supplied on request.
  • The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse to transcribe audio files of an offensive or inappropriate nature.
